We offer Wheel Throwing, Hand-Building, and Pottery Painting parties and private lessons. Pricing varies by age group and the number of guests. For pottery painting, costs depend on the specific pieces chosen by your group. All prices listed are per person. Please note that we do not currently offer walk-in pottery painting. Private use of the studio is not included in the standard pricing unless your group is large enough to require exclusive use. The studio is often shared with other students and guests during regular hours.

Skill Level: Our pottery-making projects for groups are geared towards the beginner with no clay experience necessary and guests will be working at a table using hand-building methods to create a clay project or at a pottery wheel to learn some wheel skills. FAQ’s

  • The host parent(s) can attend their child's party plus 1-2 additional adults. However, we cannot accommodate the parents of all the participants or extra guests as the space can only the party guests who are making or painting pottery. Parents of guests will need to drop off and pickup their children at the beginning and end of the party.

  • All party attendees must participate in the same activity, whether that is a hand-buidling or wheel project or pottery painting only. All attendees who are paid for will be able to make a clay project or paint a pre-made piece of bisqueware.

  • All participants are allowed to make or take home one piece of pottery per registration, unless another agreement was made ahead of time between the owner and the party host. Extra pieces made aside from the agreement will not be fired.

  • All projects (whether hand-made or painted only) must be left at the studio to be finished and fired before guests can take their creations home. For pottery-making, we use stoneware clay that needs to dry and be fired twice in a kiln, including being glazed and glaze fired, before it can be picked up. Pottery painting parties also need to leave their pieces to be glaze fired. Pottery is typically ready for pickup 2-4 weeks after a party or event.

  • All pottery made with our clay and glazes is food safe, as well as microwave and diswasher safe. Although most people choose to hand wash their pieces for prolonged life. For pottery painting on bisqueware only, some pieces may not be suited for the microwave or dishwasher, but will be food safe.

  • Group parties who are making projects from clay will be able to choose one glaze color for the entirety of the projects created during the party or event. The color can be decided by the host, the guest of honor or by the group as a whole. If individual guests would like to choose their own glaze color (different from the color chosen for the group), there is an additional $5 charge per guest. Only private lessons of 1-2 people can choose individual glaze colors at no extra cost. Only pottery painting parties will have a variety of glaze colors to choose from to decoratively paint their bisqueware pottery pieces.

  • For pottery making parties, we can only accommodate extra guests if requested no less than 48 hours ahead of the party date, and if space allows, as we have to prepare the clay and materials ahead of time. We also only have a certain number of table and wheel spaces. We need your final headcount no later than 48 hours before your party date. For pottery-painting parties, we need a final head count at least 1 week before the party date to make sure we have enough pre-made bisqueware for each guest. However you can always check in with the studio if you’d like to add a guest last minute and we can see if accommodations can be made.

  • We cannot issue refunds for no-shows. A deposit of $50 is required to hold the date which is non-refundable, and the # of guests attending and payment in full for all guests is required 48 hours before the party. Because the materials we prepare in advance are costly and we hire an instruction and possibly an assistant ahead of time based on the number of guests, we cannot issue refunds for any reason.

  • Your deposit of $50 to hold your date is required 1-2 weeks ahead of time, and is not refundable for canceled parties. However, if you need to move your party to a future date, we can do so at no additional cost pending studio and instructor availability.
