WHEEL
Intermediate & Up
Spring 2025: Session 3
April 28th - June 21st
CLASS DESCRIPTION
This Intermediate & Up class is for students who are comfortable with the basics of working on a pottery wheel (centering, pulling, shaping and trimming) and are ready to hone in on these skills and take their pottery-making journey to the next level. Learn to throw taller and thinner, perfect the handle and make more intricate forms (i.e.: spouts, lidded forms, etc.). Practice to wheel-throw with more intention and refinement. Students have the freedom to explore other creative ideas such as carving, sgraffito, slip decorating, and more. Although this is a wheel-focused class, students interested in only hand-building may choose to work at a table instead and are asked to register for a “hand-building only” spot by emailing the studio directly. No experience necessary. Instruction, demonstrations and all supplies included. Please read additional class info HERE regarding class structure, make-ups and open studio time.
